It has to be said, sometimes application rate conversion can be quite a lot better=20than=20ALSA's=20rate=20conversion,=20if=20it=20uses=20a=20longer=20(more=20CPU=20intensive)=20conversion=20filter,=20because=20it=20seems=20there=20isn't=20an=20easy=20way=20to=20change=20this=20in=20the=20ALSA=20converter. Audacity is quite nice for playing with these things (check the status bar to=20see=20what=20rate=20is=20actually=20being=20sent=20to=20the=20card=20in=20recent=20builds). Richard Ash |
