[xine-devel] Isolating Xine-lib from xine-ui over the network

Hi guys

I was just thinking whether its feasible to think about the
abstraction of xine-lib and xine-ui over the network

I am running an LTSP based environment here. By default, every
instance of xine runs on the server. What I am thinking of is to have
xine-lib running on my small LTSP client, and let just the xine-UI run
on the server. This is because I do not have a lot of memory to
accomodate a really good UI on the client. Is there any easy way of
implementing this? Can I tunnel xine messages through the X server
protocol ?

Please let me know your thoughts on these.
