[xine-user] compiling xine

Hi,

i want to compile xine-lib from cvs, all works fine except:
there is no libxine.so.1 but only libxine.1.13.0, libxine.1, libxine, 
like in libxine.la.
If i build a rpm with checkinstall (on SuSE 9.0) i could not install it 
because it says "failed dependencies, libxine.so.1 missing" or something 
like that.
The libxine.la is created form libtool 1.5.8.

What can i do?
