It's finally fixed. The video files that were playing back with a green screen were all over 2GB and were stored on a Win2K box. I was connecting to that box using samba. Apparently samba has a problem with files over 2GB. I'm now connecting to that Win2K box using NFS and videos over 2GB play fine. Thanks for everyone's help.
