I notice you have an AMD 64bit Processor. Have you compiled xine-lib to be a 64bit application ? If so, I don't think libdvdnav is 64bit safe, so you might not be able to play DVD on AMD 64bit mode. libdvdnav uses some assumptions, like for example, it thinks all pointers only take 4 bytes of storage space. On 64bit systems, all pointers are 8 bytes. Thus, you can see the problem.
