I did discover that recently. I'm looking at some other method thats non-intrusive. On my HTPC with digital passthrough, the gap is nice, smooth and constantly increasing. On my laptop (where I usually resample but I'm not at the moment to try and develop a better feedback algorithm) it's very jittery and jumpy. I am giving it a lot of thought.
