I've been using xine in the past with no major issues (Red Hat 8, Red Hat 9). Recently i upgraded to Fedora 2 and the NVidia 1.0-6106 driver (released two or three days ago) and there are some strange problems with the display. I am using a GeForce (something-or-something-else) 5800 with 2 VGA outputs, hooked up to two monitors. I am using the TwinView mode of the NVidia driver to obtain an effective display which is twice wider than one. This setup never had any problem previously. Before upgrading to Fedora 2 and NVidia 6106, when i maximized xine, it would maximize to just one monitor (half the total effective screen) and it would display fine. Now it does not look right, either normal or maximized: ftp://andrei.myip.org/scr/ Looks like xine thinks it has to display the image twice as wide. Totem (with xine backend) has the same problem. I also noticed that now, if i run a screensaver, it is effectively run twice, one instance for each monitor running independently. Before, it was just one screensaver instance running twice as wide. I'm not sure how that correlates with the xine problem. I also attached the xorg.conf file, which is pretty much the same as always. I am not sure where the problem is. Fedora? NVidia? xine?
