Following up on this, I sent the BBC a few comments about what CSS *really*
does and just got this back from the BBC newsdesk:

"Thank you for your e-mail. I read it with interest as I am always
interested in feedback from readers. I have made some changes to the
story in the light of your comments."

Indeed, the text has been slightly amended to make DeCSS look a bit less of
an electronic form of pure evil.
