Either you have a CVS version of xine-lib running (I remember having such a segfault condition fixed right before the -rc3 release), or either one of yor plugins or the plugin catalog file is corrupt. Please - check if you have free space on your home partition - rm ~/.xine/catalog.cache - reinstall xine-lib, after finding and removing all of yor potentially broken plugins, which you'll find in /usr/local/lib/xine/plugins/ (or /usr/lib/plugins or $prefix/lib/plugins) Make sure you get 1-rc3 or newer CVS snapshots!
