I guess this is the same problem as with X.org. There is only a shared libXv which xine cannot use. I attached a patch to configure, which allows you to specify --with-xv-lib=static/shared and which also improves XvMC support by allowing an option --with-xvmc-hw-lib to specify a hardware-dependent XvMC library other than the nVidia one. I vote for committing this patch, because some people on xine-user with the X.org problem already tested this and it worked. But the patch does not do any kind of auto-detection, so it would be great if someone was so kind to add this. Michael -- Linux is much like an Indian tent: no Gates, no Windows and Apache inside |
