I'm using my server at home as an answering machine, downloading WAVs to wherever I happen to be to listen to messages. I've just installed the xine plugin, and Mozilla now seems to be asking xine to handle playback of WAV files. It fails. The error dialog goes something like: - xine engine error - There is no input plugin available to handle 'https://www.mydomain.co.uk/messages/v-1174-234-20.wav#demux:wav' Maybe MRL syntax is wrong or file/stream source doesn't exist. I'm assuming that this means that xine can't handle https urls. Is there any way of either getting xine to understand https, or of asking the mozilla plugin not to handle WAVs? Thanks Dave Brooks |
