Hi, I'm trying to get ALSA support into xine-lib (beta11). I'm using the debian sarge packages of alsa 0.9.2 with the driver modules compiled from the source package. Configure shows me the following: checking alsa/asoundlib.h usability... yes checking alsa/asoundlib.h presence... yes checking for alsa/asoundlib.h... yes checking for ALSA version >= 0.9.0... no *** Could not run ALSA test program, checking why... *** The test program failed to compile or link. See the file config.log for the *** exact error that occured. This usually means ALSA was incorrectly installed. *** All of ALSA dependent parts will be disabled *** config.log contains: configure:18386: checking for ALSA version >= 0.9.0 configure:18463: gcc -o conftest conftest.c -lasound >&5 configure: In function `main': configure:18515: `SND_LIB_MAJOR' undeclared (first use in this function) configure:18515: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once configure:18515: for each function it appears in.) configure:18516: `SND_LIB_MINOR' undeclared (first use in this function) configure:18517: `SND_LIB_SUBMINOR' undeclared (first use in this function) configure:18466: $? = 1 configure: program exited with status 1 Any ideas? TIA, Raffi -- The difference between theory and practice is that in theory, there is no difference, but in practice, there is. Raffael Herzog - he...@ra... - http://www.raffael.ch - ICQ #67961355 |
