Hi all, it looks like the libfaad code is not really happy on architectures where char is unsigned... Does anybody know that code sufficiently well to fix this? The funny thing is that I don't seem to have any trouble on powerpc. But then, I've never tried faad there... Subject: Bug#181238: wrong assumption on char signedness Resent-Date: Sun, 16 Feb 2003 15:33:11 GMT Resent-From: Gerhard Tonn <Ger...@ga...> Resent-To: Siggi Langauf <si...@de...>, xin...@pa... Package: xine-lib Version: 1-beta4-2 Severity: important Hi, char is per default unsigned on arm, powerpc and s390. There are several warnings, e.g. dither.c:117: warning: comparison is always false due to limited range of data type during build of your package that might cause a runtime error. Please check http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?&pkg=xine-lib&ver=1-beta4-2&arch=s390&stamp=1044236906&file=log&as=raw for details. Thanks, Gerhard |
