Just compiled 0.9.12 and I'm getting a segfault on startup. Compile went smoothly, but startup doesn't. It does a memcpy benchmark, then loads up the MPEG 2 decoder/demuxer no matter what stream I tell it to play (if any). Here's the last bit of output from running it: Using MMXEXT for IDCT transform Using MMXEXT for motion compensation video_decoder: using decoder >mpeg2dec< using video decoder plugin 'mpeg2dec' libmpeg2: frame size is 592 x 112 libmpeg2: frame size 592 x 112 libmpeg2: blasting out backward reference frame on close demux_elem: demux loop finished. Segmentation fault The only file I can see it attempting to load is "file:///usr/local/share/xine/skins/xine_logo.mpv", but that's for the skin. Is it possibly trying to load the mpeg2 decoder for this and failing, or is this an mpeg2? The last version of xine I had was 0.9.2 and it works fine. 0.9.11a gives the exact same error. Current CVS won't compile for me, so I can't try that. I didn't see any other errors like this in the archives, so I figured I'd see if anyone has any ideas. If any more info is needed, just ask. Please CC me as I'm not on the list. --MonMotha |
