Now that is really strange! This is definitely not a RTLD_GLOBAL problem as I thought before. Here on my system, the dxr3 vo_out is linked to: michael@jupiter:~ > ldd xine/lib/xine/plugins/xineplug_vo_out_dxr3.so libfame-0.8.so.8 => /usr/lib/libfame-0.8.so.8 (0x40011000) libXext.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.so.6 (0x40053000) libgcc_s.so.1 => /opt/experimental/lib/libgcc_s.so.1 (0x40061000) libc.so.6 => /lib/libc.so.6 (0x4006a000) libm.so.6 => /lib/libm.so.6 (0x40190000) libX11.so.6 => /usr/X11R6/lib/libX11.so.6 (0x401b3000) /lib/ld-linux.so.2 => /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0x80000000) libdl.so.2 => /lib/libdl.so.2 (0x40273000) As you can see, on your system, the dxr3 vo_out plugin is linked at compile time against the alsa libs. I have no idea, how this should happen. Could you please check with ldd, whether any other plugins are linked against alsa? You could also check, if the Makefile.am in src/dxr3 of your xine tree is identical to the one in cvs. Michael Roitzsch PS: Could you also check whether your mails get through to the list. I only receive them via my personal address. |
