I just signed up on this list so dont flame me if this already has been = brought up =3D) Im streaming television from home with windows mediaencoder, and having = a hard time viewing with xine. I am connecting to a proxy that runs windows media services on = windows2000 server. (connecting direct to the source doesnt work either..it doesnt recognize = it as a asf streaming) connecting with: xine http://195.xx.xx.xx/tv/tv.asx Output: input_http: answer: >HTTP/1.0 200 OK< input_http: answer: >Server: Cougar 4.1.0.3920< input_http: answer: >Content-Type: video/x-ms-asf< input_http: answer: >Content-Length: 88< input_http: content length =3D 88 bytes input_http: answer: >< input_http: end of headers xine: using input plugin >HTTP< for this MRL = (http://195.xx.xx.xx/tv/tv.asx). demux 1226 ts_open! xine: using demuxer plugin >ASF< for this MRL. metronom: video stream start... metronom: waiting for audio to start... metronom: audio stream start... metronom: audio stream start...done demux_asf: file doesn't start with an asf header xine_play: demuxer failed to start xine-panel: EXIT It looks to me as xine recognize it and loads the right(?) demuxer..but = whats wrong? the stream works in windows mediaplayer and mplayer, but maybe this isnt = implemented in xine yet? /Christer |
