i) In the function 'dvdnav_build_nav_list', the statement 'mrl->size = 0;' causes a segmentation fault for reasons unknown. Changing the position of the statement, the position of the 'size' element in the 'mrl_t' structure, the optimization level, and the amount of memory allocated for the 'this->mrls' structure have no effect. I'm going to try compiling with gcc 2.x to see if this is a code generation problem. ii) Solaris 2.9 has issues with encrypted DVD playback and libdvdread fails to read some blocks in a consistant manner. I'm going to reinstall Solaris 2.8 02/02 to verify this. iii) The new read ahead cache in libdvdnav appears to be causing an unacceptable performance drop. No ideas. -- Wishing you good fortune, --Robin Kay-- (komadori) |
