 Well cool that you took the time to start fixing the syncfb module. :-) I was
 busy as hell the last few month and so I took some  distance  from  the  xine
 development. Yet I noticed that the lastest major changes to  the  api  broke
 the plugin -- and I wanted to wait until xine has stabilized (api-wise) until
 taking a closer look and investing the time to fix things. :-) [still running
 some very early 0.9.9 cvs here]

So let me know if you need any assistance - and I'll glady help.
