Hi all. First of all, if this message appears twice, I'm sorry. I've started using XINE a couple of days ago, and it's great... However, I'm having problems with the four/five_channels support. I'm using XINE 0.5.1. My soundcard is SBLIVE ( EMU10K1 chip ), and I'm using OSS ( The newest version from opensource.creative.com ) as my sound driver - which has support for multi-channel. Also, I have a 4.1 system connected to my digital output ( Not SPDIF ). All works just fine when I set XINE not to use more than 2 channels ( I hear sound ). But when I set up .xinerc to enable more than 2 channels, I'm getting no sound at all. The video output, however, is fine. This is the output of xine, just in case: This is xine (X11 gui) - a free video player v0.5.1 (c) 2000, 2001 by G. Bartsch and the xine project team.
