If I come up with something concrete I tend to put it into the Feature Request or Bugs - but not everyone does that, so it does not yet have everyone's input. (hint hint, nudge nudge to all you guys) :-) One thing to review is the README - currently in CVS - you can get to that from Sourceforge, CVS, View CVS online, And click on the XCSoarV4Readme.txt. It has some ideas for the next version - fairly technical but might give you some clues. Mainly though what we need is people without the finger on the button to help us - suggestions from non developers for features are actually far more valuable - as we developers tend to get a little too involved in the technical (which is good) and need the help from users that don't know the limitations of the system. To explain further, developers tend to know how something works and the limitations of it, so judge features often around those criteria - even without meaning to. Thanks Sverre Scott |
