Sorry for not being clear enough, i'm asking which port should i open on the management node in order to install and run xCAT, not necessary from the website. i'll try to be clearer - i need to forward traffic between the compute node and the outside network, lets say a license server on the internet. i'm looking for other solution but none of them really working right now (if any one knows of a way to forward traffic without iptables i will love to hear), not sure why. looks like i'll probably have to use iptables, not for the firewall, just for the traffic routing and only on the management / login node. this is why i need to know how to configure the firewall / iptables for xCAT. thanks in advance.
