XBT Client 0.4.0 released

A new version of the XBT client has been released. This client is an implementation of the BitTorrent peer to peer file sharing protocol in C++. It's designed for low CPU- and RAM usage, an easy-to-use interface and high download speeds. Both Linux (source only) and Windows versions are available.

A web frontend (written in PHP) is available, so the client can be controlled from anywhere on the internet (if you wish).

XBT Client 0.3.0 released

A new version of the XBT client has been released. This Windows client is an implementation of the BitTorrent peer to peer file sharing protocol in C++. It's designed for low CPU- and RAM usage, an easy-to-use interface and high download speeds.

Recent changes:
Added Upload Rate Limit option to context menu.
Added Check and Radio icons to the context menu.
Made disabled context menu items gray.
Added estimated completion time to details view.
Torrents with zero-byte files can now be downloaded.
Shortcuts for open (Ins), close (Del) and the five bottom views (1 - 5) have been added.
Added "Completed at" and "Started at" to the details view (not yet remember after client restart).
Made double-clicking on a torrent open Windows Explorer in the directory of that torrent.
Made double-clicking on a file (in the files view) open that file.
Added events view.
Fixed files view.
Added option to change sub-file priority for multi-file torrents to the context menu.
Added multiple views (details, files, peers and trackers) to the bottom pane. The files view doesn't work yet.
Added a client column.
Added a peers (leechers + seeders) column.

XBT Tracker 0.1.1 released

The next version of the high-performance BitTorrent tracker has been released. The tracker runs on BSD, Linux, Solaris and Windows. It can run as normal console application or as daemon/service.

The tracker can now be used as a members-only tracker and per-member download/upload statistics can be tracked.

XBT Tracker 0.1.0 released

The eleventh version of the high-performance BitTorrent tracker has been released. The tracker runs on BSD, Linux, Solaris and Windows. It can run as normal console application or as daemon/service.
The performance has been improved and only a few SQL queries are used per minute now.
A popular site that's using this tracker is serving 160000+ peers and the CPU load is just 45 %.

The next version of the XBT client has been released. This Windows client is an implementation of the BitTorrent peer to peer file sharing protocol in C++. It's designed for low CPU- and RAM usage.

Recent changes:
Added make torrent function with a few restrictions:
- No directory structure.
- No desktop.ini.
- No thumbs.db. ;->
- Less than 256 files (use an archives like zip).
- Only drag- and drop allows you to include files.
Added multi-tracker support into make torrent.
Disabled end game mode to save bandwidth.Added option to lower process priority (on by default).
Reduced memory usage in certain situations.
Added option to limit number of connections/peers.
Fixed bug that caused 100% CPU usage in certain situations.... read more

The fifth version of the XBT client has been released. This Windows client is an implementation of the BitTorrent peer to peer file sharing protocol in C++. It's designed for low CPU- and RAM usage.

This release fixes two bugs, adds a few features and further decreases RAM usage.
