(It seems a shame to go do all this just so I can run the stupid thing once more in order to get at the box and zap Cromwell into the BIOS, but if that's what it takes, I'm up for it.) (The whole idea of the xbox was that it could be a nice, quite, CHEAP front end for my PVR system.) That said, if I gotta buy a modchip, I gotta. Final question: Based on the fact that mechassault does in fact start up, etc., is it fair for me to assume that I have *not* borked the xbox mobo with my fantastic soldering skills? >>Thanks. > > > David > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------- > This SF.Net email is sponsored by The 2004 JavaOne(SM) Conference > Learn from the experts at JavaOne(SM), Sun's Worldwide Java Developer > Conference, June 28 - July 1 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA > REGISTER AND SAVE! http://java.sun.com/javaone/sf Priority Code NWMGYKND |
