Hi all, I am using WinXP, wxWidgets 2.5.2 and wxPerl CVS. Has the functionality changed with recent updates regarding wxWANTS_CHARS in a Wx::TextCtrl? In the past I used this by trapping the TAB key with EVT_CHAR and searching a database for a valid entry before the control loses focus. In the past calling $event->Skip allowed the tab to be processed as expected and focus would move to the next control, now it appears as unreadable text (a small square) inside the TextCtrl. wxWidgets documentation says to generate a wxNavigationKeyEvent to handle the navigation but this is not wrapped from looking through sources (I don't think). Has anyone else encountered this? Am I correct with my assumptions? Any pointers or workarounds? Any assistance much appreciated. Regards Mark |
