Hej, I downloaded the MacOS X experimental release (the precompiled package from the download page) and started to play around with it. Most of the stuff seems to be working fine on my Macintosh (iBook 600/10.3.3). However, the WxPerl windows isn't able to get the focus (to become the frontmost window). Reproduce: Start the "dialog.pl" sample from the wxperl samples. Fire up a terminal and try to start the application by running ./dialog.pl. The dialog will appear but it will be behind the terminal window. Even a clicking on the wxperl window won't bring it to front. The buttons seems to work, the grow, close and shrink buttons from the window are working, too. Even the 2 entry fields can get focussed, however you can't enter text as the window isn't the frontmost window and the text you enter will be displayed in the terminal window. Even if you rename the dialog.pl script to dialog.command to start it right away from the finder the wxperl window will still be in the back. Fun thing I noticed: When you switch to the Finder and choose "hide all" the wxperl window will still be visible. my question: Am I missing something here (I think I read the essential documentation about this) or is it a bug in the MacOS X distribution.
