IMO it has not, it is just the procedure that has changed. For what is worth, the scripts I use to make binary releases have become much smaller after the introduction of Alien::wxWidgets. And the intento of Alien was never to replace Makefile.PL, as it is explained in the Alien manifesto. Regards Mattia |
