VistA-Imaging requires a separate FOIA request and it is being rewritten. Of course, the transition to the new imaging system should be manageable as the VA will have support that transition, but it does add complexity to an already complex problem. I do not know what the anticipated release date for the new imaging package is, but presuming it, too, will need to undergo FDA scrutiny, it may be a long time.
