You can log the stack trace in the log4j settings (add a " %@" to the log string), that's why it isn't included. As for the many, many different exceptions that Class.forName can throw, I'm really not interested in any of them, at least not in that detail because you can't do anything reasonable to remedy the situation anyway. So I'd prefer not to clutter the code with all those catches, but that's just me. Cheers, Anjo |
