Hi all, I've just created 2.10 branch for WinMerge (R_210). This means: - trunk development is now for 2.12 release (experimentals versions are 2.11.x) - 2.10 branch heads for 2.10.0 release in few months - couple of 2.9.x beta releases are expected from 2.10 branch, no experimental releases As we are now working with longer stable/devel branch, branch commits are not (yet) very strict. Bug fixes are priority, but other improvements and smaller new features can be committed. Until 2.10 release candidate, also Merge.rc file changes are also possible. But the important rule is, all commits go first to trunk. Only after that they can go to 2.10 branch. There are no experimental releases from 2.10 branch so some extra care is needed to not cause new bugs. So: - all new development in the trunk, including cleanups etc - selected new features + bug fixes can be merged to 2.10 branch I've added a list of bugs that would be good to fix for 2.10 into wiki: http://winmerge.org/Wiki/Development_2.9.x todo-list in that page is out of date. Regards, Kimmo |
