Hi all, The list doesn't seem to be very active... I hope someone's there anyway. I just completed building a lirc receiver, using the more advanced circuit on the pages - you know full +10 -10 V swing and low drop regulator. My photochip is a TSOP (forgot the number). Anyway, first question: is there any doc on how the driver uses the serial port to time the signals? I'm just curious about that but I couldn't find anything. Want to know how it works, the thing I built! Secondly: I very often, when trying to learn my remote, get these "Did not get consistent signal" errors. It seems to vary though. Sometimes every attempt works, sometimes none at all. I have an Athlon XP1700+, and the site says min 200 MHz, so I don't think that should be the prolem, running with almost zero CPU load. Any ideas of what might be wrong? With an existing (half completed) configuration file, receiving works just fine. Thanks, Wim __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo!
