Due to lack of Help, I may be wrong but I suppose "Send Code" button should emulate pressing buttons on a remote. So, it doesn't work: tray icon flashes blue, but applications don't see the code sent.
So I was completely about this button. 2 questions:
1. How can the button send an IR signal - through IR receiver?
2. Is there a way to emulate IR signal receiving?

You mean app? I checked MPC-HC and nnCron.
The send code button sends an infrared signal to control external hardware. So in theory you could turn your tv on/off from your pc.
