Using Mega128 with external 11.0592MHz XTAL. All fuses set correctly to work with this XTAL. Basically I have attached a file with two versions of code that was compiled. The code compiled with the older version of WinAVR-20060421 works perfectly well (no timing problems). Wile the same code compiled with WinAVR-20070525 does not work (timing problems) Timing problems occur when compiling with the newer version of WinAVR. When comparing hex outputs they are different, so are other files. Summary of the code: Basically two pins PD6 (DATA) and PD7 (CLK) are used to display text on a 24x2 line LCD using the circuit in the compressed file. The lcd library used is also within the file. Files are compressed with 7zip 4.56beta. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Eric Weddington (arcanum) Date: 2007-11-26 15:54 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=543419 Originator: NO Joerg, do you have time to take a look at this?
