Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Submitted By: PhilipM (pmul) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: simulavr-disp unusable Initial Comment: Hi, after installing, you cannot use simulavr-disp.exe: simulavr -g -d atmega8 -X -P simulavr-disp Gives "unable to open terminal cygwin". If I take the terminfo directory from a cygwin instllation and copy it to c:\term, then patch the simulavr-disp.exe at offset 0x023a0 with the text "/cygdrive/c/term ", then simulavr gives the correct display. The next WinAvr release needs some way of providing the terminfo. P.S. simulavr -g -d atmega8 -X -P simulavr-disp 2>null works better, diverts misc. messages to null which otherwise disturb the display. Maybe WinAve should include a batch file like this? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=520074&aid=1544460&group_id=68108 |
