I have tried to use uisp to download a .hex file to ATmega128 using an STK 500 and uisp. the programming failed. checking the communication with a serial port monitor tool, I figured out that alll 0x0a bytes that go to the serial port are transformed into 0x0d 0x0a which obviously breaks everything. this looks like posix termios stuff of the used cygwin isnt working properly. A friend used a newer cygwin and compiled uisp20040311 there and it worked without problems. I will be happy to try out a newer winavr version to verify that uisp works. we especially need uisp as we wrote an atmel bootloader that is happy with it. using avrdude is an option but will require some work on the bootloader to support addition stk500 commands. thanks for providing winavr in the first place ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Matthias Ringwald (freckle) Date: 2005-02-21 11:05 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=687107 This problem has disappeared in the WinAV R 2005 0214 release. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: Eric Weddington (arcanum) Date: 2005-02-17 17:46 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=543419 Hi Matthias!
