Hi Sven, Check the latest cvs-build first. What are the Vendor and Product IDs of your camera? (Look at the USB pane of the System Profiler with the camera connected) To add support, we first need to determine what bridge chip is being used, the USB IDs above will help with that; also, sometime you may need to open up the camera and take a look inside. Basically macam is an object oriented hierarchy of drivers, with most classes corresponding to specific bridge chips. Let me know, Thanks, Harald <http://sourceforge.net/users/hxr> On Aug 29, 2006, at 09:37, Sven Berg Ryen wrote: > Hi! > > I purchased a Vista IM camera from Creative, and find that it is not > supported by your software. > > As I'm a programmer, I'm eager to help you iimplement support for this > variety of Creative camera. > > Could you perhaps point me at the proper locations in the source > code, so > that I can get started. > > We could communicate on Skype, iChat or MSN if necessary? > > Hope I can help you, please get in touch :) > > > Best regards, > > Sven Berg Ryen > -- > Post Address: Maxus Media & SW Sven Ryen, Sollivn 101A 5030, 6414 > Molde > Phone: 0047 9979 8717 > > > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > --- > Using Tomcat but need to do more?
