You can put something like $INCLUDE /var/named/common.hosts in any zone file to share records between multiple zones. However, if you are doing this then you should make sure to use only relative records like www IN A 1.2.3.4 or IN MX 5 mail.blah.com. Otherwise it won't work. The catch is that webmin always converts relative names to absolute one, so if you edit a record that is included into multiple domains it will be messed up. - Jamie |
