Thanks Jamie... I did the command you suggested - but there is no output - presumably because I updated the kernel via the old software packages module. However - I can give you this mornings email updates report from the webmin module - which may be more or less what you are looking for.... This preceded my performing the updates. It seems that it is only when it creates the list of modules to be updated that it gets it wrong. I hope this helps. I really like your new software updates module. It covers most of the territory we discussed earlier in a potential "yum" webmin module. The current problem is no big deal - because I can and do still update kernel modules using other webmin functions - but it would be nice to get it all in one place. Richard.
