I'm sure I'm making everyone crazy with this and I apologize. I think I m= ay have figured it out, but can't get it to work though. I've noticed on the one box, that sort of works but doesn't (I get no err= or message but the slave=A0domain is never created), that portmap (RPC) i= s running on port 111 (is that udp or tcp?). So I went and opened up the = firewall to allow for the portmap to work on 111 (both udp and tcp) but a= m still getting the same error message (invalid login for RPC). So now I'm not sure if I'm heading in the right direction or not. If so, = my next question is, what am I opening myself up to here with this port o= pen to the worl. Is that a smart idea to leave portmap open to the world? --------------------------------------------=20 Vernon Webb=20 Network Information Systems Engineer - Webmaster=20 comp-wiz.com, inc.
