But I was thinking he might have confused ssh with webmin's ssl function for connecting via https under webmin. I don't know why he would bother using webmin's ssh feature- I just have never thought of using it- opening a session via bash is easier, to me anyway. As far as root connecting via ssh, you can have a root account but set ssh to not allow root login and then just su to root once connected. Robert Brandtjen |
