Yeah except that didn't help. My config defaulted to pointing to the /etc/mail/generics which I don't use. I tried pointing it to /etc/mail/virtusertable, but that didn't seem to change anything. The users compose message screen still has <username>@hostname for their from address everytime. I just need a file for each user to use their own alias they choose. Maybe they are sales@domain or joeblow@domain, and their username is something totally different. Usermin already creates a .usermin directory in each users home directory. This is the perfect place to keep user specific information like this. The coding isn't that dificult to implement either. I just want to suggest it as a feature for a future release or something. Well, for starters, upgrade to the latest version (1.070). Then look in: Category: Webmin > Usermin Config > Usermin Module Config > Read Mail There are a whole bunch of options for controlling the "From:" address. As a side note for Jamie, my IT guy was the one who brought up the broken header issue in Usermin when using qmail as the MTA. Webmin has the same problem when sending mail from within. Can you put the fix in there too? Thanks a bunch. Dennis Lewis who knows just enough to break things, not to fix them. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Oracle 10g Get certified on the hottest thing ever to hit the market...
