sends you a e-mail to the address you have the auto
reply setup on
webmin will send back a auto reply but the message it
sends will not have any thing it the body of the
message.

I just tried this on a redhat 7.2 system, and it worked
perfectly for both local and remote email. Do you have any
special mail settings on the server doing the autoreply?

Got the same problem,
I still use the same distribution (SuSE 7.0) but lately
autoreply doesn't sent de body of the original message along.
Later I discovered that I had the autoreply text (containing
$BODY, $FROM etc) in the /tmp directory, which was
eventually deleted. Autoreply still worked, but the original
message isn't sent along anymore.
Maybe a message could be sent to the postmaster that the
autoreply file is missing or something in a next version?
