#181 Transfer encryption/decryption speed

I max out at a maximum of maybe 600KB/s on a ad-hoc
wireless network. I wouldn't mind waste reducing
encryption as an option for better performance, or
using a higher amount of processor usage to
encrypt/decrypt data, or some other method to improve
performance (more memory usage? encryption optimizations?).
