Vish, FFMPEG support in vidl is a fairly new addition to VXL. It has not been thoroughly tested. The seek warning probably relates to a bug in the way seeking is done in the vidl_ffmpeg_codec. However, I have seen this warning with some videos, but the video still loads fine. A first step might be to check that FFMPEG will play the video (open it with the ffplay program that comes with ffmpeg). If it does play there is probably a bug in vidl. You can try the CVS version of VXL, I believe the was a recent bug fix in vidl_ffmpeg_codec, but I don't know if it addresses your problem. We are currently in the process of redesigning the video library from the ground up. The new library is in contrib/brl/bbas/vidl2.=20 You could also try using this, though it's likely you might encounter the same bug. We will continue to develop and debug vidl2 and the current vidl library in core is likely to become depreciated sometime soon. --Matt Leotta On 4/2/06, Vish <swa...@ya...> wrote: > Hi there, > > I am using vxl version 1.4.0 with ffmpeg version 0.4.9-pre.
