The tableaux interact with the GUI via the adaptor, so you'll have to have one of them. What you want is definitely supported, but perhaps no-one has tried it recently with Qt. The general way to do this is to instantiate the adaptor (impl/qt/vgui_qt_adaptor) and insert it into the appropriate Qt frame or panel or whatever. vgui_qt_adaptor is a QtWidget, so it should fit in nicely. This adaptor will then talk to the tableaux. > Are there any projects that have tried this or is it simply not possible? It's been done with MFC. There is an example in vgui/examples/mfc_example.
