Different GPU cards have different limits of how much memory you can allocate in a single block. If I recall correctly nVidia reports a lower max block size to OpenCL than to cuda, for Fermi devices. The max block size (or some similarly named property) is reported by any standard GPGPU card property reporting tool (e.g. oclDeviceQuery) Ian. |
