VVV (Virtual Volumes View) 0.6 released

VVV is an application that catalogs the content of removable volumes like CD and DVD disks for off-line searching.
Folders and files can also be arranged in a single, virtual file system. Each folder of this virtual file system can contain files from many disks so you can arrange your data in a simple and logical way.

The main new feature of this version is searching. It is now possible to search a catalog for files matching the user's specifications.
The program now uses the Tango icons for its graphic appearance, it is possible to add a comment to each volume and folder navigation has been enhanced.

VVV is available for the Linux and Windows operating systems. An OSX version is planned for future releases.

VVV does not change your operating system in any way: everything is contained in the installation folder so you can be sure that it will not cause problems to other applications or to the operating system itself.
