Hi all, Well, at least it does not work like I think it should. our ILS places format info in odd places, so I wrote a converter creating a 007 field and adding values, "vf" for video cassette, "t" for book and so on. Leader and 008 are messy and unreliable (in our db), so I cut out parts of the script checking these fields, and in addition made "Book" default result. However, despite that, after import I have no "book" items in the catalog, instead there are "electronic" and "unknown". After the changes I made to format.bsh they should not be there. Other formats (audio CD, DVD, map, software and so on) are recognized just fine. It seems like despite my editing of format.bsh leader and possibly other fields are checked and give random results. Can anyone help? Regards, Tomasz. |
