Those deprecation warnings shouldn't be a problem -- I get them as well and they seem to be harmless (hopefully the PEAR libraries will get upgraded sooner or later... or we can just move away from the offending ones -- see VUFIND-268 in JIRA). I'm still suspicious that your problem is somehow rooted in web/conf/searches.ini. Both of the problems you mention relate directly to settings in that file. Have you tried temporarily replacing your version of the file with the latest trunk version and/or commenting out lines or sections to try to hone in on a problem? It might be interesting to see if it works correctly if you have just one simple facet setting and one simple search type setting. If so, you can add things back until you hit the one(s) that cause problems. Good luck! - Demian > -----Original Message----- > From: Oliver Marahrens [mailto:o.m...@tu...] > Sent: Monday, October 18, 2010 9:26 AM > To: Demian Katz > Cc: vuf...@li... > Subject: Re: [VuFind-Tech] Vufind and PHP 5.3 > > Demian, > > thank you for your hint. > I'm using PHP 5.3.3, which I have compiled myself under Ubuntu.
