Regarding problem #1, it sounds like you have some problems with the way your paths are set up. I'd recommend checking the path and url settings in the [Site] section of config.ini (path should be a relative path, url should be an absolute URL starting with "http://" or "https://"). If those are okay, you might also want to check the Apache configuration in httpd-vufind.conf to be sure that the RewriteBase is correct. If none of that helps, let me know and I'll see if I can think of any other fixes. For problem #2, are you able to get any specific error messages? It might be helpful to turn on debug and then go directly to one of the thumbnail URLs to see what it says. Regarding the call number problem, you might be able to spot clues if you use the Firefox Firebug extension to inspect the AJAX responses -- available in the "XHR" section of the "Net" tab. If you need more detailed instructions on how to do any of this, let me know and I'll be happy to elaborate. - Demian > -----Original Message----- > From: andrewdps [mailto:mst...@gm...] > Sent: Wednesday, September 01, 2010 2:22 PM > To: vuf...@li... > Subject: [VuFind-Tech] Thumbnail and availability > > > Hi all, > > I've few problems while using vufind.I've worked on this previously, but > unable to figure out what might went wrong. > > 1.some part of url gets added to the next thing I do,like when I search > for > some items say "Java" it displays some items and when clicked on a > particular item some part of url get appended to it and I get "An error > has > occurred".When I delete that extra url,I get that particular item > displayed. > something like this if useful... > http://localhost/vufind/Search/Results?lookfor=&type=AllFields&filter[] > =callnumber-first%3A%22S+-+Agriculture%22 > when clicked on a particular item in this page it goes to > > http://localhost/vufind/Search/localhost/vufind/Record/1843 instead of > http://localhost/vufind/Record/1843 > > 2.Thumbnail images are not displaying and a problem with call number is > back > like I get > Call Number: Loading > Located: Loading > Loading... > > I added the amazon secret key for the thumbnail images to get displayed > and > also edited SERVICE_NAME to SID in voyager.php.I guess this was > modified > long time to work with most of the systems.Still,I gave a try replacing > ". > $connectType ." with "SID".However, both didn't work for me > > Any help would be appreciated. > > -- > View this message in context: http://old.nabble.com/Thumbnail-and- > availability-tp29591875p29591875.html > Sent from the vufind-tech mailing list archive at Nabble.com. > > > ----------------------------------------------------------------------- > ------- > This SF.net Dev2Dev email is sponsored by: > > Show off your parallel programming skills. > Enter the Intel(R) Threading Challenge 2010. > http://p.sf.net/sfu/intel-thread-sfd > _______________________________________________ > Vufind-tech mailing list > Vuf...@li... > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/vufind-tech |
