Hi Folks,

 

When a user searches using Journal Title in a basic search, I would like Solr to also search Serials. As I understand it, this is not currently possible using the FilterQuery options as Solr doesn't support OR filter queries:

If I created a "Serial Title" option in searchspecs.yaml, would it be possible to chain the two together to produce the desired results? One other possible solution I considered was having "Journal Title" linked to an advanced search which selected "Serial Title" OR "Journal Title". Has anyone tried anything similar?
